These terms govern use of Sharkey County Released Inmates. By accessing the site, a visitor accepts these conditions. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the site.

Sharkey County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no affiliation with a government office, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides an FCRA-covered service. This is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

This private reference site stores no official custody or court files. It cannot confirm a person's status, release anyone, change an order, or file a record request. It points visitors toward Sharkey County and Mississippi government resources and may connect them with outside research tools.

Visitors agree to use the site lawfully and without harming others or the service. A user must not:

  • Break a law through use of the site
  • Stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate another person
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on site information
  • Attempt unauthorized access to an account, server, or feature
  • Operate bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools
  • Interfere with another visitor's access or site operation

FCRA Uses Are Prohibited

Third-Party Links

Links may lead to release-record sources, sheriff and corrections sites, courts, legal resources, and independent search providers. These destinations are not controlled or endorsed by this site. Their own terms, privacy practices, prices, and access rules apply.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that:

  • Information is accurate, complete, or current
  • Access will remain continuous
  • The service is free of defects or security weaknesses
  • An outside search will return every relevant result

Custody, release, and public-record information can change quickly. No page is an official statement from the Sharkey County Sheriff, MDOC, a court, or another government office.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and its content partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from access, use, inability to use, or reliance on the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its owners, and its partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, misuse of information, or breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless another owner is identified, the text, graphics, logo, design, and code belong to Sharkey County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without written permission.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A revised version becomes effective when posted. Continued use after publication means the visitor accepts the new terms.

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, with or without notice, when necessary to protect the service, enforce these terms, or for another lawful reason.

Mississippi Governing Law

Mississippi law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Mississippi.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected language will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it lawful and enforceable.
